A Huge "Thank You"
to all parents who helped to make the Chipshoppe Fundraiser a huge success! It was fun to see how much pride the students took in their abilities to sell items in order to win prizes! The items that you have ordered (and family & neighbors) will be available for pick-up on November 19th!
Please.... sign up for PT Conferences, if you have not! A note was sent home last week and again this week giving you directions to the online PT Conference sign-up sheet. If you are having problems accessing this website, or if the website is not working correctly, please call Linda at our office (547-2340). She can help you to sign up for conferences!
If you do not have access to a computer, please send a note with your child. I can sign you up for your preferred date/time. Thanks! I cannot wait to meet with you in person to discuss your child's academic and social progress in first grade!!
Lead 21 has pushed us to think about "How Can Matter Change?" We discussed the 3 states of matter: solid, liquid, gas. Students have learned properties to be able to describe each state of matter! Go ahead and quiz your child at home!!
As we culminate our Unit 2 studies, I am asking you, the parents & families of 1B students to sit down with your children and create a project answering one of the very important unit questions "On The Move."
This letter was sent home yesterday on bright yellow paper! Refer to it for the guidelines! Please notice that the due date is NO LATER than Tuesday, October 30th! Have fun!!
Math : We have been learning about patterns, counting up & back, and the most fun.... studying odd & even numbers! Please look at your child's "math homelinks" for more information!
